Touched By Records was created by Matthew Tout AKA DJ Possibility in 2009. He set up the label to show his passion and love for good, New and exciting Drum and Bass. He sees Drum and Bass as unlike any other genre of Dance music because it is progressing constantly to new and better places. He still loves House; Break beat etc but never would let it get in the way of his passion of Drum and Bass.
Touched By Records has a aim to take Drum and Bass away from the bad image that it seems to have picked up over the years. Weather or not it deserved it in the first place is for you to judge. It just seems people won’t give it a chance just because of what they heard in the press etc.
Drum and Bass has changed and developed over the years. There is now many types from the likes of Jump Up which used to be one of main types played in clubs. To the now growing scene of Liquid, Minimal, Dark, Dance floor styles which are not only pushing Drum and Bass to the next level. But helping some more experimental work by artists come though which is always a good thing.

The Drum and Bass community at one point made it impossible for new artists to come though and it seemed to be the same Artists being released on vinyl etc. Recently there has been a massive change to this thanks to the internet which allows social networking, podcasts, Online radio, Aim, Soundcloud to name a few. This has sparked a massive wave of amazing groundbreaking music coming though. Drum and Bass is constantly evolving because of this.
